From the moment we arrived we felt like part of the family!

Beautiful property, great food and the kindest staff I’ve met on all my travels.
I plan on heading back to Nicaragua next year and will definitely be back– for much longer this time!!

“the only place to stay if you visit Ometepe! amazing”

spent 3 nights here and had such an amazing time. its run by a great couple called tess and anton who provided the best hospitality i’ve ever experienced on my travels! whatever you want to do or need they’ll happily go out of their way to help you and furthermore cook the most amazing food throughout the day!
they can organise volcano climbs, fishing trips and whatever else you want to do on the island.
at the hostel itself make you can choose between various cool dorms or more private cassitas if you want more space to yourself.
while your there make sure you take in the sunset from the treehouse dorm observatory, enjoy some beers and maybe a party with morgan himself and appreciate the amazing surroundings.

If on Ometepe, stay here a night at least to see the three story treehouse. Good prices, on the lake, no complaints. Loved our random stay here while motorcycling around the island.

Little morgans is a beautifully designed place, very natural, very original, situated directly on lago nicaragua. The staff are very down to earth and friendly and eager to help with any local information. I enjoyed every meal that i had, the organised trips were really good especially the fishing, 25 fish in 4 hours! I would recommend it to anyone going to omotepe and already have, enjoy!

“Totally amazing!”

Little Morgan’s was amazing it’s a totally unique hostel on a great island. We only planned on staying 2 nights but ended up staying 5 (could have stayed even more)! The staff are so welcoming and cook some amazing homely food, we really felt like one of the family when we left. Hope to come back one day. Thanks

Just spent 3 nights staying at Little Morgan´s and had such a fun experience. Each dorm and cassita, while basic and definitely at one with nature, are completely unique and so cool! Anton, Tess and Morgan really made our stay a highlight of a trip that has thus far incorporated Central and South America. They could not have been more hospitable and helpful and anyone who is travelling even at the very least to Central America and 110% to Isla del Ometepe MUST stay here.

“Freaking amazing”

This place was wonderful. Seriously wonderful. We were so glad we chose to stay here–such a neat experience, and at the time we stayed, just what I needed. After a busy and exhausting several days, it was impossible not too feel incredibly relaxed the moment we walked down that hill …

This place was very reminiscent of the Swiss Family Robinson–my 10-year-old-self was flipping out. We fell asleep to the sounds of the surrounding jungle. And got easily the best sleep I experienced in a dorm during our entire trip through Nicaragua.

Also: very tasty food, friendly & helpful staff, great location right on the water…

We left Little Morgan’s feeling revitalized and ready for the rest of our trip! Would love to go back and stay a little longer.

Little Morgans was recommended to me from a mate and it definitely lived up to his glowing review. Very relaxed, comfortable beds and a great bar. The staff are very helpful and friendly and watching the sunset beside Volcano Concepcion from the lookout tower was a real highlight. Little Morgans makes for a great base from which to check out Ometepe, I fully recommend checking ot out.

had the best time there. fell in love with the staff. a modern day pirate hang out. very relaxing atmosphere. great food. cozy cabina. loved it and didnt want to leave.
